Inspired by the owner's grandmother from Naples, Italy, she used easy, simple, raw ingredients - an approach that Mia’s will carries over in our own menu, that includes house-made pasta, Italian sandwiches, charcuterie, and square pizzas.
"Interior designer David Chenault, who’s also behind the look of ARP’s Majestic Cafe and Clarendon’s racy Spanish-themed Pamplona, added lots of colors and textures to make Mia’s pop. There’s Sistine Chapel-inspired art splashed on soaring ceilings along with plush neon-colored chairs.Design accents across the 180-seat space include thick marble wraparound bars, studded leather banquettes, and high European-style doors painted a rustic red hue that open up to the street. An outdoor patio adds another 30 seats." – EATER Washington DC
